THE ESSENCE OF NATURAL SOURCES OF WATER

Venuz White's contemporary ritualistic performance reveals the living presence of landscapes through her Water Revelations. The voice of water from natural bodies of water calls upon the spirit of the land, activating the hydro memory through crystals, regenerating the inner currents and outer flows of dormant waters.

GUACHACA is a visual poetry film, a devotional journey by artist Venuz White through her Water Revelation hydromancy practice, offered to the spirit of water. “Where the River Becomes the Ocean” honors water as the female essence of all creation.

GUACHACA is also a sacred river for the indigenous people of La Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia.

The discovery and practice of the cosmovision of the Kogi elders—Mamos—opened a whole new dimension of understanding of our human relationship with the sacred life force of water and the invisible language of nature.

Droplets of life dance downwards,
over and under enchanted geography,
to the Pacific, Atlantic, Orinoco,
and Amazon basins.

At the end of this performative pilgrimage,
each molecule is reclaimed by the heavens,
only to return to its elevated cradle,
where begins this endless choreography
that heralds fertility and abundance.”

VIBRATIONAL PAINTING PORTALS

In the first stage of the artistic creation process, Venuz White explores the hidden potential of rain from the páramos as a communicator between distances and dimensions, akin to telepathy. She gathers samples of water from various natural sources and ecosystems—springs, rivers, rain, lagoons, and páramos—to ignite her communication method with water through her hydromancy practice. This process aims to unveil messages from the spirit of the land as vibrational painting portals. The collected water, containing the life forces of these elements, is preserved in handmade blown-glass vessels that resemble sacred ancestral devotional objects..
